Dream Count by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Set largely during the isolation of the COVID lockdown, the novel traces the intersecting lives of four African women: Chiamaka, Zikora, Kadiatou, and Omelogor. Navigating life between West Africa and America, each woman confronts personal choices regarding love, ambition, motherhood, class, and trauma. Through introspective reflections, their stories examine how women measure their unfulfilled expectations and personal desires in a changing world.
