Jomo's Twin by Osar Ranzo

A fun picture book that will help readers learn about ACTION VERBS. Village boy Jomo encounters his mirror image for the very first time. Jomo thinks his image is another boy out to copy his every move, sets out to outsmart it – by going through a series of actions – and is frustrated when the image matches his speed. Things come to a head when Jomo decides to shoot his mirror image with a rock. What will happen next? With simple, repetitive sentences to build fluency, this lovely read-aloud book will engage young children from 5 years upwards. It also has vibrant illustrations and questions to stimulate critical thinking while testing comprehension.
