The Snake Farmers by Yusuf Serunkuma

Yusuf Serunkuma’s satirical play, The Snake Farmers (2014), is a widely studied text for Uganda's UNEB A-Level Literature in English (Paper 2: Drama). The play serves as a scathing parody and critique of Western development aid, NGO opportunism, and the moral bankruptcy of postcolonial African leaders who weaponize local suffering for personal enrichment.
